What can you expect from this assessment?
The assessment usually consists of different parts, both online and offline. For the assessment of this consultancy, the Q1000 test of Eelloo (formerly Meurs HRM) is used. During the assessment, the candidate’s verbal, numerical and figural cognitive abilities are tested using figure series, diagrams, series of numbers and analogies.
Logical or abstract reasoning is tested with the (moving) figure series. The purpose of this is to discover the underlying system of the series and to recognize a pattern in it. The diagrams are intended to test the candidate’s abstract reasoning. The candidate must be able to indicate the relationship between different sets of concepts by means of a picture. Series of marks are a well-known phenomenon for many applicants. This tests numerical reasoning. The candidate is challenged to discover the regularity of the series of numbers. Using an analogy, the capacity of verbal reasoning is tested. The candidate must be able to demonstrate the similarities between pairs of concepts. You have to discover the analogy between two sets of words, as it were.
